Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an Executive Director to lead the technology strategy supporting HR, Corporate Affairs, Business Development, Corporate Strategy, and Strategic Alliances. You will own the Workday platform and related enterprise systems, serving as the executive technology advisor for these functions.

You will build a high-performing global technology organization, drive AI-enabled analytics, data capabilities, and ensure platform resilience, security, and aligned investments

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR, or related field; MS or MBA preferred.
• 17+ years progressive HR technology leadership, including large-scale Workday (HCM) programs.
• Deep expertise in Workday architecture, release strategy, and integrations.
• Familiarity with technology needs of business development/corporate strategy/alliance management (plus).
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and attract top talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology strategy and multi-year roadmap for HR, Corporate Affairs, Business Development, Corporate Strategy, and Strategic Alliances; align investments with enterprise priorities.
• Own and optimize HR technology portfolio, including Workday and platforms supporting talent acquisition, employee experience, learning, workforce planning, and people analytics.
• Deliver technology solutions for business development, strategic planning, alliance management, partner collaboration, and AI-enabled opportunity intelligence.
• Build and lead a high-performing global technology organization.
• Drive measurable business outcomes (hiring, onboarding, HR service delivery, deal execution, alliance effectiveness, automation, system reliability, productivity).
• Modernize/standardize platforms, processes, operating models, and data capabilities.
• Advance AI, automation, workforce analytics, and decision intelligence.
• Oversee vendor management, technology investments, Workday governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and platform resilience.
