Job summary

Sheepgate, a division of Adult & Teen Challenge of the Midlands, seeks an experienced Executive Director to lead the Beatrice Women’s Center and advance faith-based recovery and whole-person transformation.

The role focuses on strategic leadership, staff development, and fundraising, building partnerships with churches, donors, and community partners while upholding mission, values, and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of leadership.
• Experience in nonprofit or recovery ministry preferred.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and tech.
• Ministerial credentials or able to meet Sheepgate's credentialing requirements.
• Flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the Beatrice Women’s Center.
• Recruit, supervise, develop, and evaluate staff.
• Foster a healthy, Christ-centered culture among staff, students, and volunteers.
• Ensure Sheepgate policies, procedures, and accreditation standards are maintained.
• Oversee the financial health of the center, including budgeting, fundraising, and development.
• Build relationships with churches, donors, businesses, community partners, and other centers.
• Represent Sheepgate within the Beatrice community and surrounding region.
• Identify opportunities for ministry growth, program development, and facility expansion.
• Work closely with the President and organizational leadership.
