Job summary

ADULT & TEEN CHALLENGE Alabama seeks a Women’s Center Program Director to lead the residential recovery program and provide spiritual guidance. You will supervise staff, ensure safety and discipline, and partner with leadership to advance transformative outcomes for residents.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and adherence to ministry values within a Christ-centered setting. Flexible hours may be needed to support program needs.

Qualifications

• Evidence of commitment to Jesus Christ and alignment with Adult & Teen Challenge Alabama's mission.
• Ability to lead in a faith-based residential recovery and discipleship setting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain professional and ministry boundaries.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when program needs require leadership involvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the Women’s Center residential program.
• Establish schedules, curriculum, classes, chapel services, work assignments and activities.
• Maintain structure, accountability, consistency, and order in plans and transitions.
• Communicate program expectations clearly and administer fairly.
• Assist leadership in evaluating and improving program effectiveness.
• Provide day-to-day coaching and development to staff for effectiveness.
• Encourage healthy teamwork, communication and conflict resolution.
• Address staff performance or conduct concerns promptly and appropriately.
• Maintain appropriate staff-to-student boundaries and ethical ministry practices.
