Qualifications

• Experience setting goals and priorities aligned with an organization's mission.
• Proven ability to develop, implement and evaluate policies and procedures.
• Experience in strategic planning with multi-year roadmaps and performance metrics.
• Experience in operations management with oversight of teams and budgets.
• Strong financial administration skills including budgeting and forecasting.

Responsabilités

• Provides daily administrative and technical guidance to subordinate staff to ensure the division operates effectively.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and agency rules concerning fiscal activities, contracts, personnel, budgets.
• Analyzes administrative functions and develops new systems and procedures as needed.
• Serves on the department leadership team to convey priorities and challenges to staff.
• Represents the Department at meetings and may serve on councils/committees.
• Directs professional and administrative staff and consultants in implementing division programs and goals.
• Coordinates short- and long-term planning to maintain efficient operations.
• Develops solutions and provides guidance to management on organizational goals and issues.
• Provides in-depth review and recommendations on complex environmental issues.
