Job summary

The Division Director at the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) leads Delaware's Watershed Stewardship Division, overseeing environmental programs focused on wetland monitoring, shoreline management, and watershed assessment.

The role directs professional and administrative staff, manages a $20M+ annual budget, represents the department at regional and national forums, and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations while advancing DNREC's

Qualifications

• Experience establishing organizational goals, objectives and priorities aligned with mission.
• Experience in policy administration including planning, development, implementation and evaluation.
• Experience in strategic planning with multi-year objectives and performance measurement.
• Experience in operations management directing and coordinating activities through supervisors.
• Experience in financial administration including budget analysis, planning and expenditure forecasting.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory criminal background check required.
