Marin Municipal Water District seeks a proven leader to serve as Director of Watershed Resources. This role guides the management, protection, preservation, and public use of district watershed lands, reporting to the General Manager.

The Director will lead 27 full-time equivalents plus seasonal staff, manage a $9.3 million operating budget, and collaborate with stakeholders to align resource stewardship with community interests.

Qualifications

• 7 years of progressively responsible experience managing watershed, park, natural resource, or recreation areas.
• 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for watershed lands management, protection, preservation, and public use.
• Manage 27 FTEs and 13-15 seasonal workers and a multi‑million dollar budget.
• Engage with stakeholders and communicate with the Board and community.
• Oversee policy development, programs, and district outreach related to watershed resources.
