Job summary

CVS Health, including Aetna, is seeking a senior strategist to lead value-based care initiatives across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid. You will develop and communicate VBC content, align with analytics and operations, and support sales pursuits and RFP responses.

You will advance thought leadership, monitor market dynamics, and drive internal adoption of VBC strategy while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of healthcare consulting, strategy, communications, marketing, or business development experience.
• Experience communicating the value of value-based care, population health, provider engagement, or healthcare transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated success developing executive presentations, strategic communications, thought leadership materials, and/or RFP responses.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
• Ability to translate complex healthcare concepts, data, and strategies into compelling business narratives.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise VBC results, outcomes, proof points, case studies, and success stories across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Partner with analytics, finance, quality, network, and operational teams to identify and communicate VBC impact.
• Lead VBC content strategy and strategic positioning for sales pursuits, client engagements, and RFP responses.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Network Development, Proposal Management, and Account Management to develop differentiated VBC messaging.
• Create and maintain VBC value story content including executive presentations and client communications.
• Ensure consistent VBC messaging across lines of business and tailor for customers, providers, and prospects.
• Advance VBC thought leadership through conferences, publications, webinars, and executive speaking opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to inform messaging and priorities.
• Lead internal communications to increase awareness and adoption of VBC strategy and accomplishments.
• Serve as a subject matter resource and strategic advisor on VBC strategy and differentiation.
