Job summary

AuthoraCare Collective seeks an Executive Director to provide strategic, operational, financial, and clinical leadership for the LEAD Model and associated ACO initiatives. You will shape value-based care strategies, guide governance, and partner with physicians, finance and network development to drive high-quality outcomes for Medicare beneficiaries.

You will oversee ACO operations, manage cost of care, and ensure regulatory compliance while building collaborative relationships with payers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or Public Administration, Public Health, or Nursing
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business or Public Administration (MBA or MPA), Public Health (MPH), Nursing, or related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, population health, managed care, value-based care, or accountable care organizations.
• Minimum of five (5) years of senior leadership experience with responsibility for strategic and operational outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience managing Medicare value-based care models, including ACO REACH, GPDC/Direct Contracting, MSSP, Medicare Advantage, or similar risk-based arrangements.
• Experience working directly with boards, governing bodies, and executive leadership teams.
• Proven track record of improving quality performance, patient outcomes, and financial results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategy, implementation, and execution of the organization’s LEAD Model participation and ACO operations.
• Direct the organization’s LEAD Model onboarding and, where applicable, the transition from ACO REACH or other prior CMS accountable care models.
• Develop and execute annual and multi-year strategic, operational, financial, and quality plans aligned with organizational goals and the model’s 10-year horizon.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical outcomes, financial performance, member experience, and provider engagement.
• Advance care coordination for high-needs and dually eligible beneficiaries, including Medicare-Medicaid integration opportunities available under the model.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with payer partners, community organizations, and participating providers.
