Job summary

Genentech in California seeks a US Distribution Executive Director to lead day-to-day operations and strategic oversight of the US Distribution Network, ensuring safety, compliance, cost-efficiency, and resilience. You will drive strategy, lead cross-functional teams, and champion continuous improvement across the network.

The role requires 15+ years in supply chain, deep pharma distribution expertise, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
15+ years of total supply chain/distribution experience in regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device distribution.
Experience as Site Head of warehouse and distribution operations.
Deep expertise in regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device distribution.
Strong knowledge of cGMP, DSCSA serialization, track-and-trace.

Responsibilities

Set and drive distribution strategy across a multi-node network.
Provide people leadership and foster an engaged culture using the Vision, Architect, Coach, Catalyst model.
Oversee network performance for cGMP, safety, regulatory compliance, OTIF, budget, inventory accuracy.
Manage end-to-end supply chain resilience with risk mitigation and DSCSA compliance.
Optimize SAP TMS and EWM with IT, customer service, inventory planning, and logistics teams.
Advise Senior Management on network risks and continuous improvement initiatives.
