Job summary

Genentech seeks a US Distribution Executive Director to lead the US Distribution Network, aligning strategy with market demands and patient access. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Commercial Ops, Quality, IT, and Logistics to enable world-class performance.

The role requires 15+ years in pharma distribution, senior leadership experience, and deep SAP TMS/EWM expertise. Relocation benefits are approved for this posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, logistics, business or engineering; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years in supply chain/distribution, with regulated pharma experience.
• Site Head experience in warehouse and distribution operations.
• Experience managing cold chain, 3PLs, and SAP TMS/EWM.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive distribution strategy across a multi-node network.
• Provide people leadership and foster an engaged culture of trust and continuous improvement.
• Oversee network performance ensuring cGMP, safety, and regulatory compliance while meeting metrics.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain resilience with risk mitigation and DSCSA serialization.
• Optimize systems and interfaces (SAP TMS/EWM) with IT and logistics teams.
• Advise Senior Management on network risks and improvements.
