Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks an Executive Director to lead day-to-day research, analytics, and desk support for the U.S. Gas Basis business. You will translate fundamentals, market structure, and liquidity signals into actionable views and scenarios for Traders, Sales, and Structuring.

You’ll collaborate with Technology and QR to enhance data, tooling, and reporting, and develop a high-performing analytics platform supporting risk governance and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a desk research/analytics function with impact on trading decisions and franchise outcomes.
• Deep expertise in U.S. Gas markets, including market structure and pricing drivers.
• Experience producing time-sensitive market analysis and scenario frameworks under pressure.
• Strong governance mindset with clear escalation practices in a controlled environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for concise, decision-oriented messaging.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day research, analytics, and desk support for the U.S. Gas Basis business.

• Partner with Technology and QR to enhance data, tooling, and reporting.
• Communicate with Traders, Sales, and Structuring stakeholders clearly.
• Develop and maintain analytics to support portfolio construction and monetization.
• Drive enhancements to data, tooling, and desk analytics in collaboration with Tech and QR.
