Qualifications

  • Lead a desk research/analytics function with impact on trading decisions and franchise outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in U.S. Gas markets, including pricing drivers and regional considerations.
  • Proven ability to produce timely market analysis and scenario frameworks under pressure.
  • Strong governance mindset with clear escalation practices in a controlled environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to distill complex drivers for stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale a U.S. Gas desk research/analytics platform with institutional-quality deliverables.
  • Set the operating cadence for market intelligence to ensure consistent, decision-useful communication.
  • Monitor fundamentals and market structure and translate insights into actionable positionings and event playbooks.
  • Develop analytics to support portfolio construction and monetization (basis/curve diagnostics, liquidity indicators).
  • Partner with Sales/Structuring to support client solutions with market color and post-trade learnings.
  • Drive enhancements to data, tooling, and reporting with Technology and QR to improve reliability and auditability.
