Job summary

Chugach Tribal Services (CTS) in Anchorage, AK, seeks an Executive Director to lead the organization and implement the strategic plan in collaboration with the Board of Directors. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is required.
• Two years’ experience working for a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
• Two years’ experience in a management position.
• Understanding and experience with grant funding and reporting requirements.
• Advanced MS Office Suite skills.
• Recent investigations by government agencies are not allowed.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of CTS.
• Works with the board to craft strategic vision and align resources.
• Develops and maintains relationships with CTS Board and stakeholders.
• Prepares and approves materials for quarterly Board meetings.
• Represents CTS at meetings and events to advance CTS objectives.
• Oversees CTS communications, including social media and website content.
• Ensures compliance with nonprofit regulations and best practices.
• Manages the annual budget and fiscal operations.
• Oversees programs and administrative operations.
