Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions, a federal contractor, seeks a Career Technical Training (CTT) Manager to lead the CTT Department, direct program operations, and drive student outcomes. You will oversee staff, budgets, and training quality, coordinating with multiple internal teams and outside partners.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in a related field and 5+ years of management experience in training, workforce development, or education, with strong communication and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, career technical education, business, workforce development, or related field; five years of related management or program experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating career technical training, workforce development, education, or similar programs.
• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to analyze information, develop strategies, and manage program performance.
• Proficiency with information technology, including Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the activities and operations of the CTT Department with leadership to staff.
• Establish, manage, and evaluate department goals to meet outcomes and company goals.
• Conduct classroom and shop visits, observations, and audits to ensure program integrity and safety.
• Oversee supplies, equipment, and instructional materials to support training quality.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with other training programs for off-site training.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure accountability of students in OTP programs.
• Monitor and audit student records to ensure data integrity and progress.
• Evaluate program quality and implement enhancements with center leadership.
• Develop employer relationships to support training, work-based learning, and placement.
• Analyze performance reports and implement strategies to meet goals.
• Provide student scheduling leadership and adjust for capacity and needs.
• Collaborate with HR to maintain instructor substitutes and staffing needs.
• Oversee student performance evaluation processes and goal setting.
• Ensure compliance with Job Corps, safety, security, and government requirements.
• Support professional development for instructors and annual training.
