Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Distinguished Scientist, Translational Clinical Biomarkers to lead a Biomarker Center of Excellence in oncology.

You will supervise PhD-/MD-level scientists and shape end-to-end biomarker strategy from pre-FIH to Phase 3 and beyond, in a hybrid setting across USA locations including Rahway, NJ. Qualifikationen

• PhD/MD/MD-PhD with 15+ years in oncology biomarker studies and translational clinical research.
• Extensive experience in clinical trial development and execution; biomarker discovery and diagnostic development.
• Strong leadership in a matrixed, cross-functional environment with cross-disciplinary collaboration.

• Oversee translational biomarker efforts across multiple oncology platforms and clinical product development teams.
• Lead a group of PhD-/MD-level scientists embedded in oncology programs.
