Accelerate adoption and realize value from Global Clinical Development transformation initiatives
Establish and sustain the GCD AI Community of Practice for knowledge sharing, capability building, innovation scaling, and organizational learning
Develop forums to share use cases, lessons learned, reusable assets, prompts, agents, and best practices
Drive collaboration among Lighthouse initiative leaders, Imagineers, R&D IT, and AI practitioners
Ensure initiatives deliver measurable improvements in quality, speed, productivity, portfolio execution, and patient impact
Sponsor business adoption strategies and sustainable behavior change
Provide visibility through community engagement, reporting, enterprise communications, and OneView project inventory implementation
Foster innovation, experimentation, continuous improvement, and responsible AI adoption
Support workforce readiness for AI-enabled and digitally enabled work
Establish metrics for adoption, proficiency growth, business value, and organizational change effectiveness
Use adoption metrics, user experience, and implementation outcomes to inform prioritization and investment decisions
Lead the GCTO AI/Automation Hub and Digital Process and Data Analysis Team
Align Hub capabilities, resources, and roadmaps with GCTO priorities and Clinical Lighthouse objectives
Establish intake, prioritization, and governance for AI and automation opportunities
Drive portfolio delivery discipline, roadmap management, resourcing, risk management, adoption metrics, value realization, and optimization
Enable education, experimentation, use-case sharing, and adoption of approved AI tools, agents, and automation capabilities across GCTO

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a scientific, healthcare, business, technology, or related discipline with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences industry, including at least 10 years of leadership experience OR advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience, including at least 8 years of leadership experience
Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale business transformation initiatives
Hands-on experience creating AI-enabled solutions, including agentic builds, with technical fluency in evolving AI capabilities
Proven ability to establish and scale new operating models across global organizations
Experience translating emerging technologies into business value and operational outcomes
Strong understanding of organizational change management, adoption strategy, and value realization methodologies
Understanding of clinical development processes and clinical research operating environments
Experience governing large portfolios of strategic initiatives and investment decisions
Ability to define business outcomes, success metrics, and transformation KPIs
Experience building communities, networks, and capability development programs
Demonstrated expertise in clinical development and transformation, digital, or operational excellence initiatives in regulated environments
Proficiency in artificial intelligence, automation, advanced analytics, and agentic solutions
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration capabilities
Exceptional communication skills across technical and business areas
Ability to role model AI tool use and educate leaders on AI
Ability to lead through influence across cross-functional and virtual teams
Ability to prioritize effectively under pressure in a fast-changing environment
Ability to work independently with sound judgment and initiative
Effective decision-making facilitation and complex issue resolution
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
