Job summary

The Springs at Greer Gardens in Eugene, Oregon is seeking an Executive Director to lead our vibrant senior living community.

We oversee 216 homes (109 independent living, 75 assisted living, 32 memory care) under the direction of the Regional Director of Operations. We hire visionaries, great communicators, relationship builders, and leaders who are nurturing with employees, residents, and families. A competitive salary, bonus structure, and relocation bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or related field.
• Knowledge of assisted living and memory care regulations.
• Current ALF/RCF Administrator license.
• 5+ years as Executive Director in a large community (>100 homes).
• Experience managing multiple departments and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Adheres to community budget and financial targets.
• Maintains a stable, high-quality staff by recruiting, hiring, supervising, evaluating, and counseling employees.
• Ensures ongoing education and training, including orientation and regular classes.
• Identifies and addresses resident service needs through initial contact and service plans.
• Oversees development and implementation of service plans.
• Ensures department systems support the mission and goals of each department.
• Addresses after-hours resident, employee, or facility issues promptly.
• Completes monthly financial variance reports in a timely manner.

Position Overview

The Springs at Greer Gardens is currently seeking an Executive Director to lead our vibrant senior living community! The Springs at Greer Gardens has 216 beautiful homes, including 109 independent living, 75 assisted living, and 32 memory care apartments for our residents to live life to its fullest, all overseen by the Executive Director, who will report to the Regional Director of Operations. Key Responsibilities

• Assures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Assures adherence to community budget
• Assures a stable staff of optimal quantity and quality, by recruiting, hiring, supervising, evaluating, counseling, and, if necessary, terminating employees
• Assures all employees consistently educated and trained, including fulfilling any federal and/or state regulations, through new employee orientation and regular education and training classes
• Assures service needs of all residents consistently identified, through initial contact, initial screening, and subsequent evaluation processes
• Assures service needs of all residents consistently addressed, through development and implementation of service plans
• Assures adherence to all department systems, so that the mission and goals of each department is reached
• Assures resident, employee, or physical plant problems that arise after usual business hours addressed promptly and effectively
• Complete monthly financial variance reports in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Knowledge of assisted living, memory care and independent living regulations
• Current ALF/RCF Administrator license
• 5+ years of experience as a senior living Executive Director, in large community over 100 homes
• Experience managing multiple departments and competing priorities
