Job summary

Cantex is seeking an Executive Director to oversee the facility's overall operations in line with state and federal regulations. You will lead administration, budgeting, staff supervision, and ensure high-quality patient care in a dynamic SNF environment.

Ideal candidates hold an active Nursing Home Administrator license and have 1+ year of SNF leadership experience, with strong communication and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Nursing Home Administrator license required.
• Thorough knowledge of state/federal regulations governing nursing home operations.
• BS/BA in healthcare administration or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year as Administrator/Executive Director overseeing a SNF.
• Ability to effectively communicate, direct, and delegate tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English."

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Direct implementation of policies and procedures reflecting facility goals.
• Conduct rounds to ensure optimum patient care and safe, sanitary environment.
• Oversee recruitment, selection, and training of department supervisors and staff.
• Meet weekly with Department Supervisors to review issues and budgets.
• Carry out daily standup meetings and maintain patient census at optimal levels.
• Maintain financial records and cost reports according to policies.
• Represent the facility in dealings with outside agencies and vendors.
