Cogir Senior Living, a national senior housing operator, seeks an Executive Director to oversee a community's operations and ensure high-quality resident care.

The role emphasizes budgeting, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, and strong stakeholder relationships to drive growth and resident satisfaction. A degree in a related field and licensure are preferred, with flexibility for evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a senior living operation.
• Ability to comply with all resident rights regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
• Strong budget management and financial planning capabilities.
• Proficiency with computer systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a genuine passion for serving seniors.
• High attention to detail, time management, and integrity.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends and be on-call as needed.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site executive for operations and primary contact for staff, residents, and community partners.
• Supervise, direct, and motivate all department directors and staff; maintain training and morale.
• Maintain high resident satisfaction by delivering quality services.
• Lead development and execution of community sales and operational strategies.
• Manage the community budget and cash flow, sustain budget accountability.
• Provide leadership to staff and residents, proactively solving issues.
• Coordinate with Cogir Senior Living corporate staff and maintain relationships.
• Update and enforce policies, procedures, and licenses per regulations.
• Oversee hiring, promotions, and retention of quality personnel.
• Maintain building grounds and oversee preventative maintenance programs.
