Brethren Retirement Community in Bluffton, Ohio, seeks an experienced administrator to direct daily operations across Maple Crest campus, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with all regulations. This leadership role oversees multiple departments, guides strategic goals, and fosters staff development while maintaining privacy and security standards.

The successful candidate will have a BA or equivalent, plus experience in long-term care governance and knowledge of Ohio health regulations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent; or six to seven years related experience and/or training.
• Preferred CEAL certification in good standing.
• Knowledge of Ohio Department of Health, Ohio Department of Aging and HCFA rules and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the daily operations of all departments to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery and continuity of care at our Maple Crest location.
• Monitor departmental performance to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, licensing requirements, company policies, and MHCO standards.
• Directs the preparation of short-term departmental goals and participates in the development of organizational goals and objectives.
• Oversees directors and supervisors relating to direct departmental activities that implement MHCO organizational policies.
• Assists in the implementation of departmental programs that meet corporate goals and objectives.
• Create innovative ways to gain employee commitment to the organization’s mission and vision. Educate staff and model to others excellent customer service.
• Monitors the budget in various areas such as census, FTE’s and supplies.
• Maintains a sound plan of departmental organization, establishing processes to ensure adequate development.
• Develops and installs procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within departmental organizations.
• Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
• Ensures that all reporting organization’s activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
• Coordinate with department leaders and staff to facilitate appropriate follow-up with residents and families, communicate resolutions, and promote resident and family satisfaction.
• Direct and control assigned operations and information to maintain sound privacy and security practices and prevent privacy or security breaches. If a breach occurs, take corrective action.
• Attends workshops and seminars to keep updated on changes in long-term care.
