Job summary

FellowshipLIFE is seeking an Executive Director in Hackettstown, NJ to lead the community's operations, finances, and resident experience. This role functions as the senior operational leader, partnering with CEO, CFO, and the Board to drive census growth and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of leadership in senior living or related sectors, holds LNHA or CALA certification, and can balance daily operations with long-term strategy while maintaining an on-site,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in Senior Living, Life Plan Communities (CCRCs), Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, Healthcare Operations, Hospitality, or similarly complex service environments.
• LNHA or CALA Required
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue enhancement, census management, and expense control.
• Exceptional communicator with executive presence and ability to build trust with residents, families, staff, corporate leadership, and Board members.
• Proven ability to balance resident needs with operational and financial objectives and to drive accountability across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall community operations, financial performance, compliance, resident experience, and strategic planning.
• Reports directly to the President & CEO of FellowshipLIFE and works closely with corporate leadership.
• Serve as the primary operational leader implementing FellowshipLIFE's culture, processes, and accountability standards.
• Direct key operational leaders and collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, and Operations.
• Present to the Board of Directors and provide updates on performance, goals, and initiatives.
• Manage the community budget, including forecasting and expense control, with support from corporate finance.
• Maintain high visibility with residents through regular interactions and town halls.
• Drive occupancy and sales support through strong operational execution and amenities improvements.
• Support renovations and capital improvement projects as needed.
