Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking an Executive Director to lead operations for a vibrant senior living community in Florida. You will oversee daily operations, financial performance, and a high-performing team to ensure exceptional resident care across Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Your role includes overseeing admissions, dining, housekeeping, and life enrichment, while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in healthcare/gerontology/business or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience as an Executive Director in Assisted Living/Memory Care/Independent Living.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for business use.
• Maintain Administrator license where required by state regulations.
• Exceptional teambuilding and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of state regulations and compliance management.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer software and internet platform knowledge; email proficiency.
• Understanding of accounting terminology and financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily community operations ensuring policy compliance and standards.
• Manage financial performance including budgeting, census, occupancy, and expenses.
• Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team through hiring, training and coaching.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment built on open communication and respect.
• Oversee resident admissions, assessments and service plans.
• Ensure high-quality resident care across Assisted Living and Memory Care.
• Oversee dining, housekeeping, maintenance and life enrichment services.
• Lead sales and marketing to achieve occupancy goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, emergency preparedness and QA programs.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, team members and the community.
• Provide leadership support and be available for after-hours needs and staffing challenges.
• Communicate with regional leadership about performance and updates.
• Promote mission, vision and values through hands-on leadership.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications and perform additional duties as assigned.
