Job summary

Silver Hill Hospital is seeking a Director of the Residential Addiction Services to oversee the Dual-Diagnosis Residential Program. This role provides leadership in clinical assessment, therapy, and program development, ensuring safe, patient-centered, evidence-based care across departments.

The Director will manage a clinical caseload, guide cross-functional teams, and partner with the Chief Medical Officer to implement service enhancements and regulatory-compliant practices.

Qualifications

• MD degree required and CT license active.
• Board certified in Psychiatry preferred.
• Management/leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clinical caseload in line with Chief Medical Officer requirements.
• Acts as ambassador for the program to business development, referrers, and hospital departments.
• Provides consultation, psychiatric assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, psychoeducation, and clinical supervision as needed.
• Collaborates with clinicians and leadership to ensure high-quality assessments and adherence to care standards.
• Oversees crisis management, safety monitoring, and coordination with residential staff and Nurse Supervisor.
• Recruits, interviews, orients, and onboards new clinical staff; conducts performance appraisals.
