Job summary

Brazos Valley Food Bank in Bryan, Texas, seeks an Executive Director to lead strategy, programs, finances, development, and community engagement. The ED reports to the Board, translates strategy into action, and drives organizational accountability with a focus on growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven senior leadership experience with a Board of Directors.
• Strong fundraising and financial stewardship track record.
• Exceptional communication, public presence, and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to addressing food insecurity and community impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary and operational leadership for the organization’s strategy, programs, and finances.
• Translate strategy into action and ensure governance accountability and sustainability.
• Engage donors, volunteers, and community partners; build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Represent BVFB effectively to the public and advocate for the mission.
