Feeding America is seeking an innovative Executive Director/CEO in Savannah, GA to lead the organization across 21-county service area. You will build high-performing teams, drive strategic priorities, and expand community partnerships while creating sustainable programs and revenue opportunities aligned with our mission.

Qualifications

• +10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience, overseeing multiple departments or programs
• Ability to translate organizational strategy into actionable plans with measurable goals
• Experience in hunger relief, food systems, human services, or mission-driven environment preferred
• Advanced degree preferred; combinations of education and leadership experience considered

Responsibilities

• Establish strategic priorities with the CEO and translate goals into measurable results.
• Lead, mentor, and develop directors responsible for Operations, Programs, and other key functions.
• Foster a professional, collaborative, accountable workplace culture built on integrity and teamwork.
• Champion innovative thinking, organizational growth, and continuous improvement.
• Develop strategies to increase food distribution, expand community reach, and improve access across 21 counties.
• Strengthen partnerships with community organizations, agencies, and stakeholders to deliver effective services.
• Use data and performance measures to guide decisions and improve outcomes.
• Provide strategic direction for community programs, Kids Cafe, and other direct-service efforts.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen programs and develop new services and revenue opportunities beyond fundraising.
• Ensure programs and operations align with Feeding America and Feeding Georgia priorities.
