What You’ll Do:

• Maintain positive internal and external customer service relationships
• Manage the agency's program through delegation of responsibility to administrative and supervisory personnel according to their abilities and defined responsibilities
• Monitor methods of program administration, planning, supervising, and evaluating
• Ensure day-to-day compliance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements
• Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures
• Establish functions and qualifications for all personnel
• Determine staffing needs and patterns according to program requirements and with consideration for utilization of personnel at their maximum potential
• Authorize appointments to staff positions in collaboration with the VP of Operations
• Oversee compliance with personnel policies and procedures
• Negotiate and execute contracts with community providers for services and monitor program compliance with contractual agreements

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program strongly preferred
• Minimum Associate degree in business, healthcare or a related field and a minimum of 5 years related experience
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or administrative experience in a hospice or home health setting
• Experienced in program administration including knowledge of healthcare policies and reimbursement practices
• Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate auto insurance
