Baker Tilly is seeking a Managing Director to lead the Real Estate Advisory Team in New York. You will oversee real estate valuation engagements, manage client relationships, and drive business development across markets.

The role combines high-level advisory work, leadership of staff, and collaboration with professionals to deliver valuation analyses using ARGUS and Excel, with opportunities for growth and strong performance rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, economics, business, accounting, or related field.
• 6–8 years of Real Estate Valuation/Consulting experience.
• Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license required.
• MAI designation in progress.
• Strong communication and IT skills; ability to learn new tools.
• Solid financial analysis skills and business awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead real estate valuation and advisory engagements and overall engagement management.
• Drive business development through internal and external channels.
• Manage day-to-day activities of staff.
• Communicate with clients to foster relationships.
• Identify and pursue key clients and targets.
• Develop real estate valuations using ARGUS and Excel, plus other methods.
