Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation in Colorado is seeking a Director of Proposal Management to lead the enterprise-wide proposal function and drive strategic, compliant, winning submissions. You will manage multiple high-value pursuits, build high-performing teams, and implement best-in-class processes and tools to improve win rates.

The role requires extensive executive experience, deep government procurement familiarity, and a track record of guiding bids from capture to award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Extensive executive-level experience leading enterprise-wide proposal management.
• Proven track record directing multiple high-value proposals simultaneously.
• Expert knowledge of proposal methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes and evaluation criteria.
• Strategic vision to align proposal strategies with growth objectives.
• Demonstrated success in building high-performing proposal organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for enterprise-wide proposal management strategy.
• Direct multiple high-value, complex proposals with quality and compliance.
• Build and lead cross-functional proposal teams and develop pathways.
• Implement review processes and quality standards to improve win rates.

• Craft executive narratives and strategic messaging for opportunities.
• Establish efficient processes, tools, and templates for growth.
• Advise senior leadership on strategy, positioning, and bid/no-bid decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and lessons learned.
