Job summary

Otterbein University seeks an Executive Director to lead the Philanthropic Services and Strategy Solutions team. You will drive data strategy, reporting, prospect management, and advancement technologies to support fundraising and engagement priorities.

In this full-time, exempt role you will partner with university leadership, ensure data quality and compliance, and guide data-driven decision-making across campaigns and major gifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 5–7 years of directly related experience in fundraising or analytics.
• Proven leadership and project-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Philanthropic Services department with strategic priorities.
• Develop long-range plans for systems, reporting and analytics.
• Manage donor data, prospect research, and fundraising operations.
• Direct preparation and distribution of financial and gift reports.
• Collaborate with university leadership on data strategy and compliance.
• Oversee data stewardship and PCI/compliance practices.
