Job summary

Louisiana State University Shreveport seeks an Executive Director for Persistence and Career Outcomes to lead student success, retention, and employment outcomes across campus. The role oversees the Student Success Center and directly supervises the Director of Academic Advising, Director of Career Services, and the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required with 5+ years of leadership in student success or related areas.
• Experience building retention strategies and directing career services focused on outcomes.
• Knowledge of higher education practices in advising, career services, and retention.
• Ability to partner with external organizations and internal stakeholders.
• Experience supervising directors and managers.
• Strong data-informed decision making and analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across audiences.
