Job summary

Carrington College is seeking a Director of Student Affairs to lead student success initiatives, collaborate with faculty and campus leaders, and improve persistence and graduation outcomes. You will identify at-promise student populations, monitor performance, and develop targeted programs to support onboarding, retention, and completion.

The role requires strategic planning, data-driven decision making, and travel to campuses as needed (approximately 20-30%).

Qualifications

• Education or Experience – Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year college or university and five (5) years' related experience. Master’s degree preferred.
• Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical journals, financial reports and legal documents; ability to respond to inquiries from employees and students, regulatory agencies, or business community.
• Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts; percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Reasoning Ability - Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret technical instructions.
• Computer Skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook; master proprietary student records software.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate retention and student success initiatives aligned with the College's strategic plan.
• Develop systems to track, analyze, and report retention, attrition, persistence, and graduation data.
• Conduct research and analysis of best practices in student success and retention.
• Provide data-driven intervention strategies to campus leadership.
