LSU Shreveport is seeking an Executive Director for Persistence and Career Outcomes to lead campus-wide retention and student success initiatives. You will supervise key student services directors and coordinate with Academic Affairs and external partners to improve employment outcomes.

The role requires strategic planning, strong data analytics, and exceptional communication to drive institutional goals and collaboration across divisions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and five years of progressive leadership experience in student success, advising, career services, or retention initiatives.
• Experience developing retention strategies and setting strategic directions for career services focused on employment outcomes.
• Broad knowledge of the higher education industry, including advising, career services, and retention best practices.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to lead, supervise, coach, and support directors and managers.
• Strong analytical ability, with a track record of using data to inform planning and outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders across the institution and with external partners.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership of campus-wide retention initiatives and student success programs.
• Oversee the implementation of a coordinated advising and retention framework across campus.
• Collaborate with campus partners supporting academic support, first-year and first-generation initiatives, and transfer student success.
• Coordinate advising practices and student success outcomes with Academic Affairs and Meauxmentum initiatives.
• Serve as liaison to third-party student success partners and coordinate engagement and reporting.
• Lead or participate in committees related to retention and student success.
• Assist leadership with policies to support retention and completion outcomes.
• Supervise the Directors of Academic Advising and Career Services, and the Student Success Center Operations Manager.
