Job summary

Exceptional Care for Children in Delaware seeks an experienced Executive Director/Administrator to lead the daily operations of our nonprofit pediatric long-term care facility. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Delaware Nursing Home Administrator license required.
• Experience in long-term care administration preferred.
• 501c3 nonprofit leadership preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with pediatric long-term care or complex medical needs is valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations, programs, and services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
• Lead and develop department directors and staff.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, rights, and quality of life.
• Oversee quality assurance, staffing, training, and emergency preparedness.
• Manage expenses and annual budget; report financial performance to the Board.
• Oversee admissions, census, and bed utilization.
• Build relationships with families, healthcare partners, funders.
• Support fundraising, marketing, and community outreach.
• Maintain licensure and required professional education.
