Job summary

Kids Thrive in Dayton, OH is seeking an Executive Director to lead our Early Childhood Day Treatment program. This pivotal role oversees operations, staffing, and clinical care for children aged 3 to 12 with behavioral challenges and mental health needs.

You will champion a collaborative, child-centered approach, ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, ICD/CPT), manage budgets, and partner with families and providers to coordinate care and drive quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership for the early childhood day treatment program, setting strategic goals aligned with best practices in behavioral health and early childhood development.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluations to cultivate a motivated, skilled team.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations including HIPAA, ICD coding standards (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and medical documentation requirements.
• Develop and monitor program budgets, resource allocation, and operational efficiencies to sustain high-quality services.
• Foster strong relationships with families, caregivers, community partners, and healthcare providers to coordinate case management and home & community care initiatives.
• Lead quality assurance efforts through data collection, research initiatives, clinical documentation audits, and continuous improvement strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
