Parkview Manor in Texas is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and oversee clinical operations. This leadership role focuses on ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary staff.

You will recruit, mentor, and schedule nursing staff, review payroll, maintain accurate records, and develop individualized care plans to support exceptional outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with the State of Texas.
• Leadership experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
• Strong clinical skills and restorative care approach.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Compliance: Oversee nursing services per guidelines.
• Lead the Team: Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance.
• Support Direct Care: Step in on the floor to maintain quality care.
• Review Payroll: Approve payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain Records: Monitor resident records for accuracy and documentation.
• Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians and teams to create individualized plans.
• Provide Resources: Ensure access to equipment and supplies for nursing staff.
• Coach and Mentor: Lead and mentor staff to improve performance and outcomes.
