Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a senior leader to set enterprise net revenue strategy and governance across hospitals and physician groups. You will chair the close, develop forecasts, and partner with executives to translate performance into actionable insights.

The role requires deep GAAP knowledge, extensive healthcare finance experience, and strong leadership to drive standardization, controls, and data-driven decision making across the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Healthcare Administration; Master's preferred.
• CPA, CHFP, or similar credential preferred.
• 10+ years in healthcare finance, net revenue, reimbursement, accounting, or revenue cycle management.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, including managers or enterprise-wide functions.
• Experience leading net patient service revenue estimation, AR valuation, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Experience establishing standardized methodologies and internal controls across multiple entities.
• Experience with Kodiak RCA is required.
• Experience presenting material financial matters to executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Set the enterprise strategy, standards, and governance for net revenue across hospitals and physician organizations.
• Lead the monthly and annual net revenue close.
• Develop net revenue forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
• Explain performance and translate data into actionable financial insight.
• Advise leadership on material net revenue risks and corrective actions.
• Present analyses for executive decision-making.
• Oversee GAAP-compliant revenue recognition and audit readiness.
• Oversee payer contract modeling and revenue analytics.
• Collaborate to reduce revenue leakage and variance.
• Lead design and optimization of net revenue systems and automation.
• Strengthen data governance and reduce manual processes.
• Monitor changes in accounting guidance and healthcare regulation.
• Build and lead a high-performing net revenue organization.
• Set expectations, develop talent, and succession planning.
• Drive initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure projects complete within scope and timelines.
• Manage relationships with auditors, consultants, and vendors.
