Job summary

NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Director Nonprofit to join our client's team in Orlando, FL. This is an onsite, direct hire position.

Salary is $90,000–$100,000 depending on experience. The role emphasizes executive leadership, fundraising, and financial stewardship to advance the nonprofit's mission and ensure sustainable growth.

Onsite work with no visa sponsorship; only candidates authorized to work in the US without sponsorship should apply.

Qualifications

• Executive leadership experience as a CEO/Executive Director/President/Managing Director, preferably 6+ years.
• Proven fundraising experience with donor cultivation, major gifts, sponsorships, and grants.
• Financial expertise in budget management, strategic planning, and organizational sustainability.
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with a Board of Directors and external stakeholders.
• Strong soft skills including empathetic leadership, excellent communication, integrity, sound judgment, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational fundraising efforts, including cultivating donors, securing grants, and managing sponsorships.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and long-term financial strategies for sustainable growth.
• Manage community and public relations, serving as an organizational ambassador.
• Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
• Oversee marketing, branding, and communications strategies.
• Support daily operations, including facilities management, staff evaluations, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and support staff and contractors in achieving organizational goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with community arts organizations, government entities, and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate on legislative advocacy initiatives impacting the arts sector.
• Participate in governance activities, including strategic planning and board development.
