Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation Foundation seeks an Executive Director to guide growth, align with its mission, and expand scholarships and grants for shareholders and descendants. You will collaborate with the Foundation Board and UIC Executive Leadership to renew programs and secure donor support.

The role oversees day-to-day operations, fundraising, and strategic initiatives, emphasizing governance, community engagement, and respect for Iñupiat cultural values.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Eight (8) years of administrative and clerical experience, four (4) of which include budgeting and supervision.
• Four (4) years of experience with Alaska Native Corporation or Alaska Native communities.
• Two (2) years' Executive level non-profit experience.
• Two (2) years' experience with grant writing and fundraising.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Foundation through major growth and develop support systems.
• Strategic leadership to align with mission, vision, values, and regional stakeholders.
• Oversee operations, budgeting, and endowment strategy with leadership.
• Manage scholarship administration, including policies, eligibility, and reporting.
• Drive fundraising, donor relations, and partner engagement across sectors.
• Cultivate relationships with philanthropic, education, Tribal, governmental, corporate, and cultural partners.
• Represent the Foundation in the community and promote its mission and values.
