Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation Foundation seeks an Executive Director to guide growth and renew scholarship and grantmaking aligned with shareholders' needs. You will work with the Foundation Board and UIC leadership to shape strategy and ensure mission-driven operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred; substitutions allowed for the education requirement.
• Eight years of administrative and clerical experience, with four years in budgeting and supervision.
• Four years of experience working for an Alaska Native Corporation or with Alaska Native communities.
• Two years’ Executive level non-profit experience.
• Two years’ experience with grant writing and fundraising.
• Proven success in fundraising and donor relations in philanthropic or educational settings.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Foundation through major growth and develop/support systems.
• Develop and execute a strategic vision aligning with mission and values; foster regional collaboration.
• Oversee operations and governance to ensure an inclusive, healthy environment for staff.
• Design and execute programs aligned with the Foundation’s strategic plan and values.
• Manage budget and endowment strategy with UIC leadership.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Foundation.
• Review scholarship applications and determine eligibility; administer programs.
• Develop policies to improve efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor the Foundation’s budget and resource allocation; prepare regular reports.
• Collaborate with departments and partners; generate progress reports for leadership.
• Communicate with applicants; provide guidelines and information; manage outreach.
• Promote awareness of scholarship opportunities and engage broader audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and communities to advance the mission.
