Community Options, Inc. in New York seeks an Executive Director of IDD Services to lead Manhattan operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance high-quality programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The role oversees residential homes, day programs, supported employment, and person-centered planning, requiring a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in admin/supervisory roles; Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with five years of related experience in administrative and supervisory roles.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Minimum of two years experience with OPWDD regulations.
• Minimum of two years experience with electronic health records (Therap preferred).
• Commitment to community-based supports for persons with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure licensing/compliance with state standards.
• Lead advisory board development to expand resources and improve service delivery.
• Assess operations and implement solutions for high-quality programs.
• Develop policies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of services.
• Identify and pursue grant and funding opportunities.
• Conduct fundraising to promote the organization's mission.
• Promote a positive public image and supervise all office programs.
• Interface with state regulatory agencies and manage personnel practices.
