House of Hope CDC in Warwick, RI seeks an experienced Executive Director to lead housing and homelessness services, shaping programs, partnerships, and housing solutions that advance stability and self-determination.

You will guide strategy, oversee operations and finances, and serve as a public representative, building relationships with residents, funders, government agencies, and community partners. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Eight years in senior leadership with budgets and organizational performance.
• Experience in affordable housing or homelessness services is required.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and working with boards.
• Proven fundraising and donor relationship experience.
• Strong strategic judgment and measurable results.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and public-speaking skills.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Set vision and translate priorities into measurable goals and plans.
• Lead senior leadership team and foster accountability and growth.
• Oversee financial planning, budgets, cash flow, audits, and forecasting.
• Provide oversight of housing programs and portfolio operations.
• Use data to evaluate performance and guide decisions.
• Manage government grants, contracts, and restricted funds compliance.
• Advance fundraising and cultivate institutional support.
• Represent the organization in community initiatives and policy processes.
