Job summary

Carolina Caring seeks a Senior Director of Hospice and Inpatient Services to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for hospice services across home, facility, and inpatient care settings. The role oversees high-quality, patient- and family-centered care while ensuring regulatory compliance and fiscal responsibility.

This position is primarily based in Gastonia, NC, leading hospice houses and services organization-wide, with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and driving

Qualifications

• Five years of clinical experience including at least one year in acute hospital settings and two years in hospice/home health.
• Experience in supervisory/management roles in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of end-of-life decisions and complex equipment procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for hospice services across home, facility, and inpatient care settings.
• Oversee delivery of high-quality, patient- and family-centered care while ensuring regulatory compliance and fiscal responsibility.
• Develop and support clinical teams, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and drive operational performance and quality outcomes.
