Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL seeks an Executive Director to lead the affiliate's market entry, growth, and operational readiness. You will translate enterprise strategy into a practical market plan, establish scalable finance, HR, and operations, and build partnerships with health systems and payers.

You will recruit and guide a local admin team, align with enterprise priorities, and drive sustainable growth alongside a Senior Physician Leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible healthcare leadership experience.
• Experience leading complex healthcare operations in large systems or academic medical centers.
• Proven ability to launch new programs or enter new markets and drive growth.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
• Experience partnering with senior physician leaders and navigating physician‑administrative models.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives, physicians, and external stakeholders.
• Strategic leadership, business acumen, executive communication, and organizational change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead market entry, launch, and growth with measurable financial, operational, and patient access goals.
• Build scalable operations across finance, HR, technology, revenue cycle, facilities, and patient access.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, expense management, capital planning, and business cases for new services.
• Partner with the Senior Physician Leader on strategy, recruitment, referrals, and service expansion.
• Establish relationships with health systems, payers, and community partners.
• Identify strategic partnerships, affiliations, and market growth opportunities.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing local administrative team.
• Align local operations with enterprise priorities across a matrixed organization.
