Job summary

Tango Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Finance leader to serve as Executive Director, FP&A. Reporting to the SVP, Finance, this role will shape enterprise-wide financial planning and analysis while partnering with the executive team as Tango scales its development portfolio.

You will build and lead the FP&A function, enhance budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and provide strategic insights across R&D, Clinical Operations, and Commercial teams to support growth and capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive FP&A and finance leadership in biotech/pharma.
• Experience with annual planning, reforecasts, and long-range planning.
• Proven ability to build scalable FP&A processes and lead a team.
• Strong business partnering with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide FP&A strategy and execution with SVP Finance.
• Own Annual Operating Plan, quarterly reforecasts, and Long-Range Plan.
• Forecast clinical trial budgets and collaborate with Clinical Operations.
• Provide financial modeling for BD, licensing, and corporate development.
• Prepare materials for Board and executive leadership.
• Develop scalable FP&A systems and tools.
