Job summary

Tango Therapeutics is seeking an experienced finance leader to serve as Executive Director, FP&A. This role partners with the SVP, Finance and Global Program Teams to scale budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across a growing biotech pipeline.

You’ll build and lead a two-person FP&A team, sharpening processes and modeling to support development programs, clinical expenditures, and corporate development opportunities as Tango evolves.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive Finance and FP&A experience, including leadership in biotech/pharma.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• Proven track record leading AOP, reforecasts, and long-range planning processes.
• Experience with FP&A planning systems (Adaptive Insights, NetSuite) and building scalable financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide FP&A strategy and execution in partnership with the SVP, Finance.
• Oversee Annual Operating Plan, quarterly reforecasts, and Long-Range Plan with rigor.
• Forecast clinical development budgets and support late-stage programs.
• Provide financial modeling and insights to inform leadership and board decisions.
• Build scalable FP&A processes, systems, and tools for a growing organization.
