Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking an Executive Business Director (Epilepsy) to lead the West region as we prepare for a first commercial launch.

This remote role reports to the VP of Sales and will build and scale a high-performing field organization, ensuring readiness, execution, and strategic alignment with corporate priorities across multiple states. The candidate will drive leadership development, improve regional performance, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical commercial experience.
• 7+ years of progressive commercial or sales leadership experience.
• Neurology experience required; epilepsy experience strongly preferred.
• Significant biotechnology or pharmaceutical launch experience required.
• Experience leading first-line sales leaders required; second-line leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms, analytics tools, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Regional Sales Managers.
• Ensure launch readiness and cross-functional execution across regions.
• Drive area business performance and metrics.
• Provide market insights and strategic account leadership.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Compliance.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation for the region.
