Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking an Executive Business Director, Epilepsy, to lead the East region and build the field organization as the company prepares for its first commercial launch.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role oversees Regional Sales Managers, drives launch readiness, and translates strategic priorities into regional actions in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in biotech/pharma sales, epilepsy experience, strong leadership and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical commercial experience.
• 7+ years of progressive commercial or sales leadership experience.
• Significant biotechnology or pharmaceutical launch experience required.
• Experience leading first-line sales leaders preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Strong strategic thinking, business planning, analytical, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a high-performing team of Regional Sales Managers.
• Lead launch readiness and regional execution plans.
• Drive area business performance with data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other functions.
• Develop and communicate market strategies to executives.
