Job summary

The American Diabetes Association is seeking a National Senior Director, Partner Relations to oversee a multi-million-dollar corporate portfolio, drive revenue growth, and ensure operating excellence across medical, pharmaceutical, and diagnostic partnerships in the U.S. and globally via strategic collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, MS, PhD) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in corporate partnerships, strategic account management, business development, or revenue leadership in healthcare.
• Demonstrated ability to write scientific proposals, concept papers, or funder-facing materials for corporate partners in healthcare.
• Proven track record managing large portfolios with $50M+ annual revenue and seven-figure proposals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio leadership across multiple Partner Relations portfolios with revenue targets.
• Cultivate high-value relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device partners.
• Lead negotiations for multi-year, seven-figure agreements aligned with ADA priorities.
• Ensure portfolio revenue governance, forecasting, renewal risk, and growth planning.
• Drive operating model improvements, contract readiness, and scalable processes.
• Mentor staff and align internal teams to support growth and partnerships.
