The role focuses on leadership, infrastructure, events, and financial sustainability, with a remote work arrangement and a strong emphasis on advancing the mission of thanatology, education, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent experience in event planning management, membership, and meeting software.
• Transparent and high-integrity leadership.
• Experience overseeing programs and mission fulfillment.
• Track record of working with a volunteer Board of Directors to advance the mission.
• Experience in fundraising, fund development, and membership growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide and support leadership with the Board, staff, and members.
