Job summary

The Ephrata Recreation Center in Ephrata, PA is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization into the next era of growth and impact.

In partnership with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction, building external partnerships, and advancing fundraising efforts to drive the continued success and future sustainability of the Ephrata Rec Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in recreation, parks and recreation, public administration, business administration, nonprofit management, education, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible management or leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, personnel, programs, facilities, and organizational operations.
• Experience supervising professional, part-time, seasonal, and/or volunteer staff.
• Experience with aquatics and/or aquatic facility operations preferred.
• Experience with licensed childcare or preschool programs and regulatory compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Ephrata Rec Center in the next era of growth and impact.
• Shape strategic direction in partnership with the Board of Directors.
• Build external partnerships and advance fundraising efforts.
• Provide leadership to the team and oversee daily operations to ensure program excellence.
• Serve as a collaborative partner for members, stakeholders, and the community.
